HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — State Police are searching for a man they say robbed a grocery store at gunpoint on Saturday.
State troopers from the Paw Paw Post responded to the call at Midway Grocery around 9 p.m. north of Dowagic on M-51 where an employee advised them that a Hispanic male, in his thirties, robbed the store at gunpoint.
Surveillance footage from the store shows a Hispanic male, wearing a dark colored hooded jacket, dark colored pants, grey shoes, grey gloves, and a light-colored bandana covering his face entering the store, threatening the employee with a handgun, taking cash from the till and a bottle of wine from the counter.
The subject in the background is the cashier. The suspect (in the foreground) has not been apprehended.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Michigan State Police Paw Paw Post.
