KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Drivers who commute on South Rose Street will find the road closed soon as crews begin work repairing nearby water infrastructure.
City officials have announced the South Rose will be closed to southbound traffic between West Cedar Street and West Lovell Street starting Monday, February 10th and expected to end on February 21st.
In a release, the city says that the southbound lanes will be closed as public works crews conduct repairs on water infrastructure.
Detours for motorists will be posted, and all pedestrian and bicycle traffic will be allowed to pass through during the construction period.
