KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — It’s a sure sign of spring in Kalamazoo; The Root Beer stand is kicking off its 90th season!
The seasonal carhop restaurant opens at 11 a.m. February 10th. The stand has a simple menu and serving fresh rootbeer, hot dogs, chips, and other items.
It is cash-only but there are ATMs outside the carhop areas.
There are two Root Beer Stand locations: one on South Westnedge Avenue and the other on Portage Street.
