KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Those looking to spend time with their valentines while having a hoot learning about nature might want to check out an interesting event at the Kalamazoo Nature Center.
The “Owl Love You Forever” date night will take place at 6:30 P.M. on Friday, February 14th at the center’s main location on North Westnedge Ave.
Those attending will have the chance to meet several of the species of owl that live at the center, and learn more about the signature birds importance to habitats throughout the state. The festivities include a brief walk outside to listen for owls calling at the location.
Nature center officials say that cheese and chocolate paired with wine will be offered during the night.
Attendees must be over 21 years of age, and those interested are being encouraged to register at the nature center’s website.
