OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputies are searching for a pair of carjackers after a driver was held at gunpoint in Oshtemo Township.
It happened just before 11 p.m. Saturday in the 5000 block of West KL Avenue near Drake Road when a 32-year-old Kalamazoo man and his vehicle were taken at gunpoint and forced to drive the suspect to another location a few blocks away.
There they picked up another suspect then robbed the victim of his cell phone and wallet before they left him and took off in his vehicle.
The carjackers are described as two black men, about 5’8″, and 150 pounds and they were both wearing black hooded sweatshirts but no other details were released.
The vehicle description was also not given and at last reported the suspects remain at large.
