SPRINGFIELD, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A Battle Creek man is in custody after he threatened several people with a handgun.
Calhoun County Sheriff deputies responded to Wyndtree Drive in Springfield just after midnight on Sunday after they heard a woman scream near the home.
They later found a group of people and learned that a 22-year-old man was threatening them with a pistol during an argument.
The suspect was arrested for assault and weapons charges and for an unrelated warrant and the firearm was recovered.
A 24-year-old man was also arrested for an unrelated warrant, but no other details have been released at this time.
