BENTON HARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police have taken four individuals into custody after being apprehended for multiple high-level drug charged.
The Southwest Enforcement Team, a joint task force comprised of area police departments and Michigan State Police, announced on Thursday, February 27th that they became aware of a drug operation after a detective received a tip off.
Task-force members executed a search warrant at Harbor Towers Apartments on 250 East Wall Street in Benton Harbor.
At an apartment unit officers found crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia which was seized from the location.
Four individuals involved in drug activities were taken into custody in connection to the discovered drugs.
The Southwest Enforcement Team said in a release that the names of those facing charges have not been released as they await arraignment.
