KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A gunman is at large after a multiple shots were fired into a residence not far from Western Michigan University’s campus.
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers were called to the 1100 block of Lafayette Avenue near the intersection of Howard Street and Michigan Avenue around 2:40 a.m. Friday after reports of multiple gunshots.
When they arrived they noticed a residence that had been struck by bullets.
The motive for the shooting is still unknown and the gunshots appear to be on one specific home. Nobody was injured and there is no suspect description at this time.
