ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Law enforcement officials working with the Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) North Office have announced three arrests in a drug and gun bust.
According to SWET, detectives carried out a search warrant at 213 19th St. in Otsego Twp. on March 3. The search revealed an ounce of crystal methamphetamine, three long guns and four handguns, all of which were seized.
Following the search, the three suspects were taken into custody on multiple drug-related charges, felons in possession of firearms, and outstanding warrants.
All names of the suspects are being withheld pending arraignment. They are currently lodged at the Allegan county jail.
SWET officers were assisted by the Michigan State Police (MSP) Wayland Post and the Allegan County Sheriff Department.
SWET describes itself as “a multijurisdictional task force that has been operating in Southwest Michigan since 1981.” The North Office serves the areas of Allegan and Barry counties.
