EMMETT TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An investigation is underway after a body was found in the road in Emmett Township.
It was discovered around 2:45 p.m. Saturday on East River Road between G Drive North and Raymond Road. The body has not been identified and an autopsy is planned at Western Michigan University.
The Calhoun County Major Crimes Task Force, which consists of detectives from multiple departments around Calhoun County as well as Michigan State Police, is helping with the investigation along with the Emmett Township Public Safety Department.
