KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are searching for a suspect after a man was shot in the ankle over the weekend.
Authorities were called to the Interfaith Apartment Complex around 4 a.m. Sunday after multiple calls about gunshots in the area.
There they found a 39-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his ankle. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The victim reported that he was shot by an unknown person while standing in the complex No other details have been released at this time.
The investigation is being handled by the Criminal Investigation Division.
