KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Easter Sunday will be a little different this year.
The Catholic Diocese of Kalamazoo will be live streaming Holy Week and Easter services on their website and Facebook page due to the coronavirus.
The liturgies will be led by Bishop Paul J. Bradley from St. Augustine Cathedral and begin with their service on Palm Sunday.
The full schedule is as follows:
- Sunday, April 5: Palm Sunday, 10 a.m.
- Tuesday, April 7: The Chrism Mass, Blessing of the Holy Oils used during the administration of sacraments, 11 a.m.
- Thursday, April 9: Holy Thursday, the Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper, 7 p.m.
- Friday, April 10: Good Friday – Noon: The Seven Last Words of Christ; 1 p.m.: Stations of the Cross; 1:30 p.m.: Solemn Commemoration of the Lord’s Passion
- Saturday, April 11: Holy Saturday, the Easter Vigil, 9 p.m.
- Sunday, April 12: Easter Sunday Mass of the Lord’s Resurrection, 10 a.m.
