KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — One person is dead and two others are recovering after a shooting on Kalamazoo’s Northside.
Public Safety officers were called to the 800 block of Woodbury Avenue near Florence Street around 6:30 a.m. Saturday after multiple calls of shots fired.
There they found two victims with apparent gunshot wounds. Lifesaving measures were attempted but one victim was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The other was last reported in stable condition.
Then a third gunshot victim also arrived at the hospital moments later. They were reported in stable condition.
On Sunday, Kalamazoo Public Safety Assistant Chief Dave Boysen told MLive that the victim who died was identified as 26-year-old Londrell Cook, a Benton Harbor resident.
