KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are investigating a single car crash which prompted a road closure near the city’s Eastside.
It occurred around 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Gull Road and Riverview Drive.
Authorities say the driver smashed into a telephone pole causing it to break.
The cause of the crash is still unknown and there were no reports of any injuries.
First responders shut down Riverview between Gull and East Paterson Street as they worked to clean up the broken telephone pole. At last reported at 10 a.m., drivers were being asked to avoid the area.
