HOWARD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A Niles man is dead after he was found trapped underneath a vehicle in Cass County.
It happened around 5 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Huntly Road in Howard Township.
Cass County Sheriff deputies say 45-year-old Kenneth Charles Horner Jr. was working on the vehicle when the jack supporting it failed and pinned him underneath.
People at the residence found Horner, lifted the vehicle to pull him out, and initiated CPR until first repsonders arrived.
He was rushed to Lakeland Niles Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
