KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Travel on Oakland Drive in Kalamazoo will be affected by a planned road project beginning in late April.
The City of Kalamazoo says that Oakland Drive between Parkview Avenue and Whites Road will have intermittent lane closures and traffic shifts during the period between April 27th and May 28th.
Road crews will be present for construction and repairs along the route, as well as water main and hydrant work called for in the project.
A released statement says that detour routes will be posted for motorists during construction. Access to local businesses and private residences will be maintained, with sidewalks remaining open for pedestrians and cyclists.
