BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Due to heavy rainfall causing flooding, some parts of the Linear Park path and one road is closed in Battle Creek.
Officials say that City Field Services staff will continue to monitor conditions and post barricades as needed.
To begin with, parts of the Linear Park path are closed, which can be viewed below:
- Linear Park path under the Emmett Street bridge, near Wagner Drive
- Linear Park path under the West Michigan Avenue bridge, downtown
- ANYbodies Playground at Bailey Park
Additionally, Stone Jug Road between Gethings Road and Ridgeview Drive is closed due to water over the road.
Officials advise citizens to use caution in these areas, throughout the city on the Linear Park path, and other areas where high water causes flooding. Do not drive over roads completely covered with water.
