BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Battle Creek Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of a house fire that broke out on Memorial Day.
Crews were dispatched to a two story home on the dead end of Nichols Road just north of I-94 in southern Battle Creek just after 2 p.m. Monday where they found the structure fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters from Leroy and Newton Townships were also called in to help fight the blaze.
The fire was quickly extinguished and nobody was injured. The cause is still unknown.
