KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Kalamazoo Public Library (KPL) has announced that it will host its “Party in the Park” event online.
“We were so bummed we had to cancel our annual Party in the Park at Bronson,” KPL officials said. “So, instead of you coming to us, we’re coming to you!”
The 24-hour event will now take place online at the Kalamazoo Public Library website beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27.
“All-day long (24 hours), our homepage will feature our staff telling fun stories for your family to enjoy,” officials added.
Those who will be unable to view the event live will be able to watch recordings on the website later. Officials say the website will be updated with the videos after the event has finished.
More information about the event can be found online at https://www.kpl.gov/.
