KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are searching for four suspects after a robbery at a phone store on the city’s west side.
It happened at the T-Mobile on North Drake Road near West Main Street just after 12 p.m. Thursday, May 21st.
Authorities say two men and a woman entered the store and stole numerous cell phones that were on display while a second woman remained back in a grey colored Honda SUV.
No weapon was observed and the suspects fled in an unknown direction in the vehicle.
The following is a description of the suspects:
- A dark skinned African American man between 16 and 20 years old, approximately 5’6,” thin build, and short hair, wearing a camouflage Nike hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a surgical mask.
- Dark skinned African American man, between 16 and 20 years old, approximately 5’6,” unknown build, wearing all dark clothing with his hood up and a surgical mask.
- Dark skinned African American woman, between 16 and 20 years old, approximately 5’6,” medium build, wearing a black hoodie and black pants with shoulder length braids and a surgical mask.
- White woman, between 16 and 20 years old, long black hair, last seen wearing a white fitted t-shirt and blue jeans. She remained in the rear of vehicle during the theft.
