KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo County Sheriff Richard Fuller says last week’s visit from President Biden went off without a hitch.
The sheriff spoke to us on Wednesday and said the President’s visit to the Pfizer facility in Portage, where they are producing one of the COVID-19 vaccines, was a team effort and that everyone did their jobs very well.
“It was great actually. It went very smooth. All the teams worked like clockwork as always. Everybody did everything they could to make this visit a good one for Kalamazoo County.”
Fuller says there were some protests that occurred, but all gatherings remained peaceful. Overall, he says all the officials involved were very pleased by the execution of the event last Friday.
