KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Investigators are looking into the cause of an overnight apartment fire that resulted in a resident’s death in Kalamazoo.
Fire crews from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded around 11 p.m. on Saturday night to a multi-unit apartment on fire in the 300 block of Elm Street.
A resident was found and removed from the location during a firefighter search and rescue operation, but later was pronounced dead after succumbing to their injuries,
