NILES TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Four people are injured, one seriously, after a two vehicle crash in Berrien County.
It happened around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday on 11th Street just south of Fort Street in Niles Township.
Berrien County Sheriff deputies say a 56-year-old woman from Dowagiac was leaving a gas station when she failed to yield to a southbound vehicle, which then smashed into her front driver’s side door.
She was rushed to an Indiana hospital with possible life-threatening injuries.
The woman’s passenger, another 56-year-old woman from Edwardsburg, as well as the driver and passenger in the other vehicle, a 72-year-old man and 61-year-old woman both from Niles, were all hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
