KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An investigation is underway after two separate shooting incidents occurred on Kalamazoo’s Northside on the same street where two other crimes happened over the weekend.
Officers were first called to the 1100 block of Cadillac Street near Hawley Street around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday after a house was struck by gunfire.
Then about seven hours later first responders were once again sent to the same area on Cadillac where multiple residences were hit by gunfire around 10 a.m.
There were no injuries in either incidents.
In a press release, KDPS stated, “These shootings occurred in a residential neighborhood and endangered the lives of innocent bystanders who were nearby.”
Earlier, on Saturday June 20 officers arrested a man who threatened them with a weapon also on Cadillac Street near Hawley Street.
That same day and in the same area, three people were taken into custody after a man pointed a firearm outside of a vehicle.
