KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are investigating a shooting that shattered a window at a home in the Vine Neighborhood.
It happened around 2:15 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of South Rose Street near West Lovell Street.
Authorities spoke with the area resident, who reported their window shattering, and then discovered that a bullet had traveled through the window and had become lodged in the wall.
Officers canvassed the surrounding area and also found numerous shell casings in the 200 block of West Cedar Street, just a block away from the original scene.
This comes just hours after a suspect was arrested for shooting at a home during an ongoing altercation on East Vine Street about a mile away.
