PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The City of Portage is continuing its series of movie screenings to be shown in a drive-in theater format this weekend.
The featured film this Friday, July 17, is Detective Pikachu. The event takes place at Ramona Park, located at 8600 South Sprinkle Road in Portage.
This event is a “Drive-In” style movie. All parking spaces will open at 4:30 p.m. and are first come, first served. Admission is free and open to the public.
No movie concessions will be available other than the food trucks, but citizens can bring their own snacks.
At Friday at the Flats, local food trucks and vendors offer a wide variety of food “to go” only from 5 – 8 p.m. No additional seating will be available. Attendees can enjoy food from Cairo’s Kitchen, Neighborhood BBQ, Ibison Concessio, Specialty Cheesecake and Coffee Rescue.
Other movie events planned for this summer include the following:
- August 7: “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”
- August 21: “Onward”
