ONTWA TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team is announcing a drug bust that occurred Wednesday in Ontwa Township, the second in two days.
The bust occurred when detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in the 24000 block of Eagle Lake Estates.
Upon further investigation, detectives detained several individuals inside the residence.
During the subsequent search, detectives located methamphetamine and methamphetamine paraphernalia. A 40-year old-female was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
The suspect’s name is being withheld pending arraignment on the charges in the 4th district court.
As previously stated, this is the second meth bust to occur in Ontwa Township in two days. On Tuesday, a 20-year-old male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and other motor vehicle violations.
A 24-year-old female was also arrested for outstanding warrants.
