KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) is searching for a suspect in connection to a shooting that occurred Monday.
Just before 2 p.m., police responded to a report of shots being fired at a red truck near the 500 block of Rose Street. Shortly after the call, a victim arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds.
The victim is listed in stable condition.
Officers are looking for a taller African-American male that may have been riding a moped/dirt bike hybrid type vehicle just prior to the incident.

This is the fourth gun-related incident to occur in Kalamazoo on Monday alone. Earlier Monday, two suspects were arrested after police received a tip that they were on their way to shoot up a house.
Additionally, two teens were both shot in two separate incidents. Both are said to be recovering, but no suspects have been identified.
