PARCHMENT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Over 1,000 residents in the Parchment area will be without power for a short time.
Consumers Energy’s Roger Morgenstern says an electric system upgrade will require a scheduled power interruption beginning around 11 p.m. Wednesday and will last for about six hours.
The approximate location of the outage is bordered to the north by G Avenue East, Mount Olivet Road to the east, Lottie Avenue to the west and Espanola Avenue to the south. It will impact about 1,430 customers in that area.
Morgenstern says that all impacted customers have been mailed postcard notifications about the planned interruption, but the exact date was not noted as permits to relocate electric wires over a railroad line were not yet issued.
Outage updates can always be found at Consumers Energy’s website.
