GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO AM/FM) — An open murder charge is expected to be leveled against Jared Chance today.
He is the Grand Rapids man who is already charged with mutilating the body of Oshtemo’s Ashley Young just over a month ago.
The 29-year-old was the last one seen with Young at a Grand Rapids area bar, and detectives claim parts of her body were found in the cellar of the home where he had an apartment, and there was evidence of her dismemberment in his unit upstairs.
The cause of death has not yet been revealed, but there have been hints that it may have been drug related.
