COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Charges have been filed against a 58-year-old Kalamazoo man charged with stabbing another man on New Year’s Day.
Chad VanDusen is being held without bond in the Kalamazoo County Jail for assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon and resisting police.
His victim, a 43-year-old Kalamazoo man, showed up at a restaurant on Gull Road around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday with a stab wound.
The suspect was later tracked down by a police K-9 as he was hiding in a wooded area in Comstock.
The victim remains hospitalized in stable condition.
