BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — A Battle Creek man has been given 27-years in Federal Prison for possession and manufacturing child-pornography, and will remain on supervised release once he finishes his sentence.
State Police first became aware that sex crimes may be taking place when they spotted an ad on Craigslist soliciting child pornography.
They tracked the ad to the home in Bedford Township where Travis Tudor was living, obtained a warrant and found evidence on his cell phone that he was creating and distributing child pornography.
Tudor entered a guilty plea last summer and was sentenced on Monday.
Because he has previous convictions for car theft and home invasion, he could have gotten up to life.
