HOMER (WKZO AM/FM) — Two young males have been arrested and jailed for allegedly assaulting others with a BB gun in the small town of Homer in Calhoun County late Saturday night.
Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of West Main in the town south of Battle Creek just after 11:00 and learned that one victim had been shot in the face by a BB and in a separate incident a second victim had had been threatened, with the gun aimed at him.
Deputies were able to locate the two suspects in the 200 block of Adams about two blocks away and arrested the pair for felonious assault.
The suspects: a 23-year-old from Homer and a 22-year-old from Lexington, Kentucky, could be formally charged on Monday.
