KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A suspect in multiple home invasions and larcenies in the Milwood neighborhood will be spending his weekend in jail after a sharp eyed business owner reported a man who looked suspicious late Friday afternoon.
Public Safety responded to Bloomfield Avenue just off Portage Road near I-94 following multiple complaints of someone taking property from homes and a vehicle.
They got a good description of the suspect and caught a break a few hours later when they got a call about a man loitering, who matched the description.
The 38-year-old was in possession of some of the stolen items. He was arrested and booked into the jail.
The property was returned to the rightful owners.
