PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The City of Portage is issuing a snow emergency as they work to clear the roads.
This means that there should be no parking on any street at any time until further notice.
Portage officials are also asking residents to make sure their garbage receptacles are placed in driveways and not in the roadway.
Director of Public Services Rod Russell says they are working very hard to clear the roads for the safety of their residents and visitors.
Anyone with questions regarding this snow emergency can contact the Department of Public Services at 329-4444.
