KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — It’s getting sweet and sappy at the Kalamazoo Nature Center this weekend, but in a tasty way.
The 54th annual Maple Sugar Festival is going on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. both days.
Activities include a pancake breakfast with real maple syrup, maple sugar tours, live animal programs, kids’ activities and crafts, vendors and more.
The nature center’s Communications Director Lisa Panich says there are also events going on at the DeLano Homestead like historic sugaring, blacksmithing, and fiber art demonstrations as well as a costume photobooth.
Admission prices vary and help benefit the nature center’s programs.
The full schedule, fees, and more can be found on the nature center’s website.
