KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — A 16-year-old student at Kalamazoo Central High has been booked into the County Juvenile home for allegedly bringing a gun to school.
Security Staff was apparently tipped off that the student may be armed and they called Kalamazoo Township Police for assistance.
The student was questioned early yesterday afternoon and was found to have a loaded handgun. No students or staff suffered any injuries.
The case will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s office for a decision on charges.
