PAW PAW (WKZO AM/FM) — A gunman is in custody after shots rang out in Kalamazoo’s Northside neighborhood.
Public Safety officers were called to the 700 block of Douglas Avenue around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday and found 2 nearby homes that had been hit by gunfire.
About 2 hours later, officers arrived at the Fox Ridge Apartments where they found 1 of the suspects involved.
They then searched 2 other associated residences where they discovered the loaded firearm.
The 24-year-old man was arrested on several felony charges.
Nobody was injured during the shooting.
