KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) – Two area teenagers were apprehended after an extended chase after a traffic stop Saturday morning.
Portage Public Safety officers made the stop around 6:30 a.m. and the suspects fled the scene on foot.
Officers with the Kalamazoo Public Safety Department assisted in the pursuit.
One of the teens,15, was found to have a loaded handgun.
That suspect is in the County Juvenile Home and the 2nd suspect, 14, was arrested and released to his parent.
