KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The State of Michigan has ordered Michael Bowling of Kalamazoo to cease and desist the operation of Godspeed Transportation, which they say is unresgistered, and made a criminal referral to local law enforcement authorities.
The bureau of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs says all cab, limosine and transportation operations are required to register in order to be operating lawfully.
Bowling can either file to obtain a certificate of registration or appeal for a hearing, but in the meantime, he has to park his vehicles.
If he is caught picking up passengers, LARA says in a news release that he could be charged with a misdemeanor and slapped with a $1000 fine.
