KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — MDOT will be spending some time and money this summer improving Stadium Drive. Orange cones will begin appearing today.
MDOT Spokesman Nick Schirripa says they plan to spend the next 2-1/2 months resurfacing the busy commuter route from Howard Street east to the section upgraded last year when they replaced the U.S. 131 interchange.
They plan to spend $716,000 on the project, and weather permitting, complete the work in mid-July.
