KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — One person is dead and an investigation is underway after a shooting on Kalamazoo’s Northside.
Public Safety officers were called to the area of West Frank Street and North Westnedge Avenue just before 11:30 p.m. Thursday after reports of shots fired.
When they arrived they found a gunshot victim in the 400-block of West Frank.
The 23-year-old Kalamazoo resident was rushed to the hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
So far no suspect information or any other details have been released at this time.
