KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Starting this fall, Kalamazoo public high school students will be able to ride metro buses for free.
The Kalamazoo Foundation for Excellence with the approval of the Kalamazoo City Council set aside a quarter of a million dollars for the Youth Mobility Fund.
This will allow students free transportation to school, after school activities, community events, and anywhere else in the city for free.
All they’ll have to do is show their Student I.D. card to ride.
