PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Portage Mayor Patricia Randall is running for reelection.
The statement was released Tuesday night saying that after Randall’s one term as Mayor she is committed cutting waste, reducing debt, increasing transparency via technology and improving public services in every corner of the City.
Statistics show that in 2010 Portage had 319 property appeals and 194 foreclosures, but today appeals have been reduced to only 33 with 26 foreclosures.
The city’s debt has also been slashed from 105-million dollars from when Randall was first elected to now 51-million dollars.
She is asking for a second term this November with the hope of accomplishing more of her goals for the Portage.
