PORTER TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Cass County Sheriff deputies are searching for a driver that did not stop after they caused a rollover crash in Porter Township.
It occurred just after 8:30 a.m. Sunday on US-12 near Sunset Boulevard.
Deputies say that 30-year-old Erick Prouty of Bristol Indiana was traveling westbound on US-12 when he was forced off the roadway by an eastbound vehicle that was illegally passing another vehicle on a curve.
Prouty rolled his truck off the roadway and was helped out by witnesses.
He was rushed to the hospital where his condition was not released. Prouty was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
