LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Five more state government appointees nominated by Governor Whitmer have been rejected by the state senate.
Republicans in the chamber say that the move, in addition to 13 other nominees being turned down last week, is in response to what they say is the Governor not seeking their input on her pandemic policies.
Despite some limits being lifted, and others being considered for lifting, GOP lawmakers maintain that all limits be removed, and that they be included in any decisions regarding the state’s pandemic response.
