HOWARD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An Indiana man is dead after he was electrocuted while working at a construction site in Cass County.
It occurred just after 11:30 a.m. Friday at the AEP Kenzie Creek substation on White Street in Howard Township.
Cass County Sheriff deputies say that 53-year-old Steven E Smith of Michigan City Indiana was working on the overhead power lines when he was electrocuted.
First aid was immediately administered but he died from his injuries.
Authorities are now investigating the incident.
