KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety’s Crime Reduction Team (CRT) was made aware of numerous heroin overdoses that had taken place around the City of Kalamazoo in the matter of just a couple hours on Saturday. At approximately 5:25 p.m., the CRT, with the assistance of the Operations Division, executed the search warrant in the 900-block of N Church St.
Two individuals were located inside the residence and detained. A search of the residence revealed heroin packaged for sale, a digital scale, additional packaging material.
A 42-year-old male and a 35-year-old female were arrested for the possession with intent to deliver heroin.
Both were taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail.
