OTSEGO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Allegan County Sheriff deputies are issuing an arrest warrant for a man after he apparently showed up at his ex-girlfriend’s house and asked her to kill him.
First responders were called to the 500-block of Lincoln Road in Otsego Township just before 6 p.m. Wednesday after the woman said the man was in her basement with the firearm.
Deputies from several departments surrounded the home and deployed a robot to search the basement, but the suspect was not found.
They then launched one of their K-9 tracks and still could not find the man.
When officers finally went downstairs they found the firearm as well as suspected narcotics, but the suspect is still at large.
Multiple charges for the suspect are being submitted to the Allegan County Prosecutor’s Office for review and the incident is still under investigation.
