COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is offering a cash reward for the safe return of a dog that was taken from a Comstock Township home.
The owner, Valerie Silva, says that her 1-year-old pitbull named Hercules was in their enclosed front porch at 94 Parcom Street Sunday morning when someone reached in, unlocked the front door, and took the dog.
Witnesses say they saw a white man on a bike with Hercules in the area of the Kalamazoo Valley River Trail near Kings Highway and River Street around 7 a.m. but no other description was given.
Hercules is a pure bred pitbull and is wearing a black collar with identification tags.
